For breakfast I tend to have granola, yoghurt and berries, granola protein balls, all of which I love but sometimes its good to shake (pun intended) things up with a smoothie.This breakfast smoothie has a great green colour that will fill you up in your belly for the morning and your mind for the day! This recipe makes enough for two servings.
1 Green apple, chopped with skin still on
1 Cup spinach
1 Cup water
1 Tablespoon flax seed or chia seed
1/2 Cup ice
1 Cup pineapple, chopped
Put it all in blender (ice first) then you are good to go!
