So many store bought granola out there are super loaded with added sugars, even the ‘healthy’ ones and can often be pretty pricey too! Well, I say no more to pricey sugar cereal! Here is a recipe of mine that is tried and tested a million times, loaded with tonnes of nutritious ingredients like chia seeds, pistachios and almonds and is naturally sweetened with honey. This sugar free healthy nutty granola recipe yields 6 servings so you can make a batch, keep it in an air tight container and enjoy with Greek yogurt all week!

Sugar Free Healthy Nutty Granola Recipe – Ingredients
55g sunflower seeds
55g pumpkin seeds
1 tablespoon chia seeds
2 tablespoons flax seeds
40g organic oats
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Sugar Free Healthy Nutty Granola Recipe – Method
Preheat your oven to 175 Celsius and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Roughly chop the almonds and pistachios and put into a large mixing bowl. Mix in the oats, sunflower, flax, chia and pumpkin seeds.
Melt the honey in the microwave for about 15 seconds, or until super runny.
Mix the cinnamon in with the melted maple syrup.
Pour the maple syrup over the mixed nuts, oats and seeds and stir well with a wooden spoon.
Pour the mixture into a thin layer (as pictured) over the lined baking tray.
Place in the oven and bake for about 15 mins. Check on it after about 10 mins to give it a little shake.
Leave to cool, about 20 mins, before transferring into an airtight container where it will keep for about a week. Enjoy with natural yogurt, berries and honey.
