This Easy Ginger Spice Healthy Sugar Free Granola Recipe with crunchy puffed rice and earthy ginger, nutmeg flavour is no exception!
I love having this for breakfast with a cup of hot spiced chai tea in the colder months. Ideally it would be in front of a roaring fireplace, potentially in a cabin in the woods, over looking the forest, probably with a cute kitten on my lap purring away happily. Realistically though, it’s more like me wolfing it down at the dining room at 6:30am table whilst simultaneously doing my makeup, watching netflix and burning my tongue with my tea but still, it’s a totally great granola recipe – however you enjoy it.
Easy Ginger Spice Healthy Sugar Free Granola Recipe – Ingredients
80 grams almonds, roughly chopped
115 grams mixed seeds, I like to use pumpkin and sunflower
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
2 tablespoons of flax seeds
40 grams rolled oats
90 grams puffed rice
3 tablespoons of honey, melted
1 1/2 teaspoons of nutmeg
1 1/2 teaspoons of ginger
1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon
Easy Ginger Spice Healthy Sugar Free Granola Recipe – Method
Preheat your oven to 175 Celsius and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Get all the ingredients, chuck them in a bowl, playfully, aggressively, however you please – and stir well.
Spread the mixture over the baking tray and place in the oven for 15 mins.
Keep in an air tight container for a week and enjoy with natural Greek yogurt or milk for breakfast.
